With a wide selection of tailors in town, Burlington Tailor still triumphs as one of the nation’s top choices for bespoke premium suits. Each Burlington Tailor suit is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece,
designed with diligence and sewn with care. It expresses not only the personality of the client and his exquisite taste, but the creativity of the tailors who put it together.
Burlington Tailor is blessed with 75-year-old Wong Kok Seng, a hardworking man with more than 60 years of experience in the tailoring business. Before initiating Burlington Tailor, Wong started his own tailoring business at a series of
places over the years, including Campbell Shopping Complex, Pertama Complex and Bukit Bintang, before destiny finally led him to Bangsar. In 1995, Burlington Tailor was founded on the premise of delivering bespoke suits of excellent
quality and panache. It was named after the craft’s historical roots in London.
Over the years, Burlington Tailor has garnered a pool of distinguished patrons, including royalties, business tycoons, celebrities and many others. Clients love the consistency of the workmanship, from the superior quality of the fabric
to the way the sleeves gently curve around the elbow for a natural look.
It matters to Burlington Tailor that its customers are all treated with equal respect and dignity. It does a great job in offering its clients a luxurious experience, and these men are assured that their fashion needs are well taken care of.
The foundation of every man’s wardrobe is a good suit. Many people do not know this, but it’s the little details that really matter. When it comes to the workmanship, Burlington Tailor never ceases to impress. A Burlington Tailor
suit fits like a second skin, an extension of the wearer’s personality. It adds a boost of confidence to the man in the suit and creates a lasting impression.
In an age where most bespoke tailors leave the actual tailoring work to junior tailors, our master tailor is the one of the few exclusive tailor who is hands-on from measurement to fitment, ensuring the finest craftsmanship.

Wong Kok Seng
Having dipped his feet in the tailoring business more than 60 years ago, Wong Kok Seng is one of the finest and most experienced master tailors in town. Wong’s great passion for tailoring is one of the main reasons why he refuses
to retire just yet, even at 75.
He goes to great lengths to ensure that each suit is carefully patterned and crafted with strong attention to detail. He carefully measures each client, considering the bone structure, shoulder length and so forth, before discussing
their preferences and designing a customized blueprint of the suit.
On top of that, his warmth and sincerity continue to draw people into Burlington Tailor, because they know that he can be trusted with his advice, skills and workmanship. His amiable personality makes them think of him as an uncle or an old friend, and
people feel at home in the shop because they know that they are in good hands.
Working alongside Wong is Edmund Yap, a faithful and dedicated tailor who whips up suits patterned and designed by Wong. Having been in the industry for 22 years, his expertise on fabrics and suit styles is widely favoured by a
wide range of clients, especially business moguls.
Phoy Yong Qin
Ambitious, hardworking and driven to turn a challenge into a pathway for success, Phoy Yong Qin, who prefers the moniker YQ, is master tailor Wong’s son.
Prior to managing Burlington Tailor, YQ has achieved a glowing series of success from running businesses such as Herbalife, trading with Groupon, HappyTime Kitchen and several others.
When he agreed to step in and help manage his father’s prestigious tailoring business, he knew nothing about sewing. Nevertheless, he plans to combine his entrepreneurial insights to transform his father’s long-standing, highly
esteemed brainchild - Burlington Tailor into a one-stop platform that offers clients the best advice on trends, values and presentation. One of his main goals in life is to make sure that his father’s legacy lives on.
